TURNAROUND TIME FAQS

When should order my birth announcements?

As soon as possible after your baby is born, and generally not more than 6 months after. For standard turnaround, please allow approximately 6 – 8 business days for order processing, excluding transit time.

From the time you place your order online, your order will go through the following steps:

• Step 1: Design review & proofing
  A professional proof is e-mailed to you by your design consultant in 1 – 2 business days (we begin calculating turnaround time starting at 9 a.m. PST the day after you place your order). Respond to your design consultant with any changes, and/or to approve your proof.
• Step 2: Printing & Shipping

  Once your approve your proof, your order will ship in 5 – 6 business days. Rush production is available for $25 and reduces the turnaround time to 3 business days.

  Ground shipping takes 1 – 5 business days, depending on your location. All orders are shipped from the Bay Area, California. Rush shipping is available for an additional fee.

Do you offer Rush service?

Yes. For an additional $25, your turnaround time from proof approval is 3 business days, and your order goes to the front of the queue for design and proofing.

We also offer rush shipping services, including FedEx 3-Day (Express Saver, 2-Day, and Next Day Air).

Can you address and mail my birth announcements for me?

Yes. We offer fabulous custom address labels, designed to coordinate with the card and personalized with your recipient’s addresses. Simply select these on the “Options” tab when you are ordering your cards, download the Excel address template, and e-mail your spreadsheet to us at info@hellolucky.com, referencing your order number in the subject line. You will receive a complimentary proof of your personalized address labels with the proof of your cards. Please allow an extra proofing day for personalized address labels.

Assembly and mail out service is available for an additional fee:

0 – 50 pieces $40 + postage

51 – 100 pieces $60 + postage

101 – 150 pieces $80 + postage

151 – 200 pieces $100 + postage

201 – 250 pieces $120 + postage

251 – 300 pieces $140 + postage

More than 300 pieces – please contact us for a quote

Assembly and mail out service includes affixing address labels, stuffing and sealing your cards, affixing a postage stamp, and mailing. It also includes sending the remainder of the cards back to you via Fedex Ground, if applicable.

Please note that assembly and mail out service adds 1 - 2 days to your turnaround time from proof approval. Cards are generally received 3 – 5 business days from the time they are mailed.
